Threshold: The Masterclass

Premium Group Program for Owners of Reactive & Over-Aroused Dogs

What Is It?

A high-touch, 9-week, small-group masterclass for owners whose biggest frustrations are leash reactivity, over-arousal, and “hair-trigger” behaviour in real-world settings.
Limited to 9 owner-dog teams per cohort.

How Does It Work?

  • 9 Weeks. 9 Dogs. Exclusive Cohort.
  • Each week: 3 dogs participate in live, coached training (“working spots”); all other owners attend as observers, learning from every case.
  • Every dog receives 3 highly-focused working sessions over the course—spread out to allow for practice, recovery, and growth between appearances.
  • Observation is an active experience: As an observer, you receive coaching, Q&A, real-time feedback, practical demonstrations, and structured “homework”—so that every week you’re building skills, not just watching.

When is it?

  • Dates TBD - based on program interest.

The Science & Structure

  • Curriculum is built around “threshold skills” and nervous system regulation— moving your dog from explosive/reactive to steady and responsive.
  • Each session targets a core challenge (leash reactivity, arousal & impulse control, environmental triggers).
  • Cohort format means you benefit from real case studies in addition to your own (3 dogs x 9 weeks = 27 real scenarios).
  • In-person (plus possible observer remote/virtual options depending on interest).
  • Weekday sessions; same time each week (owner commitment required as for private training).

Who Is It For?

  • Owners of dogs who are leash reactive, easily over-aroused, or quickly escalate in public/novel settings.
  • People who want specialist support but need a more accessible or sustainable alternative to private sessions.
  • Owners committed to attending, participating, and practicing between sessions.
  • Resource Guarding, Non-Stop Barking, and Fear of Novel environments/people will also be considered for the program.

Pricing & Commitment

  • $900 total per dog/owner pair for the full 9-week masterclass (payment plans may be available).
  • Each working session delivers the focused benefit of a private session—and you get 6 extra weeks of live learning, support, and observation.
  • Extremely limited spots; applications are reviewed for fit and cohort balance.

What You Get

  • 3 in-person, hands-on coaching sessions with your own dog.
  • 9 weeks of professional group coaching, expert Q&A, and clinical insight.
  • Exposure to 8+ other real-life cases, problems, and solutions—multiply your learning by 9.
  • Accountability, homework, clarity, and a sense of expertise other owners envy.

Not a Fit If…

  • Your dog’s primary challenge is separation anxiety or car/travel phobia (these issues require individual protocols).
  • You can’t commit to consistent weekday attendance or your dog is unsafe around other dogs/people.

Outcomes

  • Greater confidence and skill in reading, managing, and changing your own dog’s behaviour.
  • Expanded behavioural toolkit—so reactivity and arousal aren’t “just who your dog is.”
  • A supportive learning tribe for ongoing connection and progress.
